This policy applies to this website, the document conversion service used by the WordeX app, and our tools for App Store Optimization, Apple Search Ads management, and growth analytics (together, the “Services”). We are the controller of the personal data described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message, and we use them to answer you.

2.2 Accounts for Our Tools

Our analytics and advertising tools are available only to people we issue an account to. There is no public registration. For these accounts we store a username, a hashed password, the access role, and records of actions taken in the tools. After you sign in, an access token is kept in your browser’s local storage and in a cookie so that the tools work; it is removed when you sign out.

2.3 Documents Submitted for Conversion

When you convert a document in the WordeX app, the file and its name are sent to our servers and converted to EPUB. Temporary copies on our servers are deleted once the converted file is returned to you.

2.4 Technical Data

When you access the Services, our servers record technical data such as your IP address, browser or app user agent, the requested address, the time of the request, and error details. We use this data to operate the Services, limit request rates, block abusive traffic, and diagnose problems.

2.5 What We Do Not Collect

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. We do not collect payment card details through the Services.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Providing the Services: converting documents, running our tools, and keeping accounts working.

We protect data with reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and restricted access to our servers. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Server logs are kept for as long as we need them to monitor and troubleshoot the service and are then deleted. Account data is kept while the account is active. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request.

Our servers are located in the European Union, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where data is transferred outside your country, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
